Pet : A Turtle Name CRV

Hi & Hello Everyone,

Tonight, I will share about a pet I bought 2 years back which is a turtle name CRV. The relevant behind that name was because during the time I bought this turtle, the first thing I saw was a vehicle and that vehicle was a CRV hence thats where its name originated. Its kind of weird but its a great unique name and a great one indeed.

At that time, my pet size was just like a mere 50 cent coin but throughout the years, it had grown quite big and more bigger that the palm of my hand and quite aggressive too maybe because it feels it is big already. Just a tip I want to share, turtles can live longer that you expected without food, mine lasts for close to two weeks back during my college days when I return back to my hometown but didn't bring my pet back. Trust me, turtles have a long life span and that makes petting one is quite easy and less hassle.

Turtles lives on food ranging from small pallets of turtle sticks to the likes of vegetables but I mostly fed my turtles with turtle sticks as it is cheap and easy to find at the market. Now my turtles reside in an aquarium near my living room but previously it was inside my room next to my bed. My thoughts on having a pet is that it can serve as a means to release the stress level and teach the discipline in taking care of living things.

Well, that's all for tonight's post, 'till then, thanks for reading. Goodnight and Wassalam.

Magazine : Kreko

Hi & Hello Everyone,

Tonight I'm gonna share about my magazine collections which consist mostly on Kreko or previously known as Komik Remaja. I bought this back during my primary school and never stop ever since so the magazines kind of pile up towards hundreds now. Kreko is issue 3 times a month and had also been issued weekly but they switch back to 3 times a month due to certain unavoidable matter which is mostly because some of the content are way ahead than schedule.

The magazine consist various mangas from Japan which makes it unique and even though there are a few other magazines which try to imitate what Kreko is providing, I still stick with the magazine because of the content itself. Unlike some other magazine which also carry the same thing as Kreko, the magazine sets apart its competitors in terms of articles and comics which is carefully selected to suit the interest of readers.

Overall, the magazine is a must for me since its became like a part of my life already. My goal is to gather as many as possible until when the magazine is pile up, it will be as tall as myself and I know it sound a bit weird but hey, its what I always dream of. So I end this blog with a picture of part of my Kreko collections and lets hope that I can share more of my magazines and comics collection because trust me, there are more. =)

Well, that's all for tonight's post, 'till then, thanks for reading. Goodnight and Wassalam.

Movie : Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah

Hi & Hello There Everyone,

Today I manage to catch a movie that goes by the title 'Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah'. It is a Malay horror + comedy film starring Awie as the lead actor and the movie is some what related to the previous 'Zombi Kampung Pisang' which is also a Malay horror + comedy film a few years back.

I am not an avid fan of Malay movies at the cinema but somehow I am attracted to see this one probably due to it's poster and trailer on the television plus I have to treat one of my old friend to a movie so why not try something out of the ordinary. We actually go for two movies today, one is Narnia : The Voyage of The Down Treader which is quite nice however the plot is not that interesting which makes a two hour movie seems a long one.

But the focus is on 'Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah' and it is quite a far funny movie for me as I had my fair share of the laughter throughout the entire movie and I would suggest everyone watch it. Even though sometimes there is part which is not very funny but later it is complimented with other parts that will surely tickles you.

I would highly recommend the movie to you guys if you are looking for a decent Malay comedy movies on the cinema currently. Other than that, there is also Harry Potter 7 Part 1, Rapunzel, Bruce Lee My Brother, The Warriors Way and Social Network to be chose from for Kuchingites that are planning to watch movies either at MBO The Spring, Star Cineplex or Lotus Five Star Cinema.

Well, that's all for tonight's post, 'till then, thanks for reading. Goodnight and Wassalam.

Hobby : Hotwheels Collecting

Hi and Hello Everyone,

Tonight I will be sharing a bit about my hobby which is collecting miniature die-cast cars mostly under the brand of Hotwheels. I started this hobby back in 2008 and it had been sucking every cents of my allowance for the last 3 years =) but it is better than buying nonsense stuff right so I plan on continuing this hobby for as long as possible.

Basically, Hotwheels is about miniature cars made from die-cast metal and decorated with different types of colorful colors and stickers a.k.a tempos. So far I had quite a bunch of cars in my collection maybe from a range of 300-450 pieces and increasing steadily if only kuching would restock faster. I collect cars like Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and Ferrari F430 but with different castings that is so interesting to choose from, my collection had expanded.

So enough with the words and let a few pictures convey what its all about.

Here is some part of my display cabinet with my collection.

Some portion of my loose cars which had been release from its packaging.

Hall Of Fame Deora II ( One of my favorite casting).

Hotwheels Collector Malaysia (HWCM) 1st Dinner Car for 2009.

Here is the Volkswagen Beetle Cup Giveaway for the first early members of HWCM forum.

Well, basically that's all for tonight's post, 'till then, thanks for reading. Goodnight and Wassalam.

A First for Everything...

"There's a first for everything"

Thats what people used to say when you start doing something for the very first time just like this blog of mine. Actually I had a blog before on wordpress[dot]com but kind of looking for a new change so thats why I set up another blog on blogspot[dot]com. I always have the passion to express what I feel in writings rather than words so I am never bored when it comes to writing hence by blogging, I can improve my writing skills.

First, let me start by introducing myself ; Wan Mohammad Shukri is my name and currently I'm at the age of 22 years old. Pursuing a degree in Human Resource Development after finishing my diploma a couple of years back. Been in love with the art of managing human resources and people hence thats why I'm eagerly waiting to finish my degree and start finding a decent job. Universiti Malaysia Sarawak is where I'm currently studying and its great to study near my hometown because it make things so much easier for me. I am a very particular person but most of the time, I am a simple normal guy who loves to enjoy what life has to offer.

Mostly, this blog will be written in English but sometimes I will also include Malay words. I still want to stick to my culture but at the same time balance it up with the usage of English language and unlike my other blog on which I used to express my feelings, this one will be a more professional one rather than an emotional one. Basically, my idea is to write and share everything that revolves in my life be it family, friends, foods, hobbies, place of interest or anything which I feel like I want to share to everyone.

Thats all for this first epic post, hope to update soon as I already got a few things on my mind.

Wassalam.
